Rob Lindsay is a four time Canadian Screen Award nominated writer, director and producer, and award winning documentary filmmaker. His film WHY Horror? (Super Channel, Showtime) was nominated for the 2015 Canadian Screen Awards Best Documentary Program. In 2013, he was nominated for a CSA as Best Director in a Variety Program for the Air Farce NYE Special (CBC TV). His most recent nominations include Best Writing in a Variety, Sketch Program and Best Variety, Sketch Program (2018).
Rob is currently directing and producing the feature documentaries, Relics of the Future; Go-Boy!, based on the Governor General’s Award winning book; and No Survivors Left Behind, showcasing one man's fight against the US government to cover medical expenses for 9/11 survivors. Rob's other documentary work includes producing and writing, Greenwich Village: Music that Defined a Generation (PBS, DOC Channel); the award winning documentary, Maiden Dreams (CBC Sports) and several branded documentaries. Rob also wrote, directed and produced on the comedy series Royal Canadian Air Farce, and many other comedy specials for CBC TV. Rob is president of Paradox Pictures Inc. a Canadian film and television Production Company.
